We breed for structurally correct and genetically sound goats that are hardy, well muscled and conform to the MGR Breed Standard
We maintain a disease free herd/farm - All goats 1 yr and older have tested negative for Johnes, CAE, and CL
We utilize the famacha system, perform routine fecals and deworm only when parasite loads indicate a necessity
Baking soda, loose minerals and hay are provided free choice
Winter diet consists of quality mixed hay with a small amount of alfalfa and protein blocks
Spring to late Fall (or until there is no snow!) they are turned out to the pasture to browse and forage which encourages good health and minimizes parasite loads
